• PMO Senior Manager Client : Japanese IT company Working Location : New York, NY  Working Style : Hybrid (At least 2 days in office) Employment Type : Full-time, Exempt Salary : $130K–$150K (NY) Benefit : Standard corporate benefits package (Insurance, PTO, 401K) Visa Support : Not provided Working Hours : Standard business hours Language :  Japanese and English  ▶︎ Key Responsibilities : Lead evaluation and monitoring of IT project portfolios to ensure alignment with goals, scope, budget, and timeline.
• Provide independent assessments and strategic guidance to ensure delivery quality and risk mitigation.
• Establish and enforce governance frameworks, escalation procedures, and performance metrics.
• Oversee training and upskilling of IT project managers.
• Drive standardization of project management processes, tools, and templates.
• Promote adoption of tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project) and process optimization.
• Manage centralized knowledge hub for best practices and reusable templates.
• Champion communities of practice, internal workshops, and cross-department collaboration.
• Act as primary liaison with Japan headquarters for project alignment and transparency.
