Seniors & Inclusion - Recreation & Community Services Coordinator

The City of Redwood City invites your application for the position of Recreation and Community Services Coordinator (Seniors & Inclusion) to direct, oversee and coordinate staff, operations and services within an assigned City recreation and community services program. Will be required to work a scheduled that includes working from 2 : 00 p.m. -10 : 00 p.m. on Thursdays, as well as occasional evenings and weekends. The incumbent may be assigned by the Department Head to work any of the designated programs within this classification.

About the position :

The successful candidate will enjoy the following benefits and more :

  • Retirement : Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) CalPERS 2% @ 60 for current members or reciprocal agencies; 2% @ 62 for new members.
  • Health Insurance : Opportunity to select from a variety of health plans that are administered by PERS; Maximum City contribution is $1,975 / month.
