We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join Applebury Behavior Associates. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities such as autism. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in assessing behaviors, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to improve the lives of individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Implement behavior analytic techniques to modify behaviors.
- Provide training and support to behavior technicians and other professionals.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for communication with clients, parents, caregivers, legal guardians, and families.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation.
- Other related duties as required.
Education & Experience
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) in Massachusetts.Master’s degree or Doctorate in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Speech and Language Pathology, or another related field.Safety Care trained, CPR trained, First Aid trained a plus.Experience working with children, especially those with developmental disabilities.Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health.Proficiency in applied behavior analysis principles.Familiarity with special education practices.Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism spectrum disorder.Strong data collection and analysis skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
