About this role :
As our Social Media Manager here at Nova Sky Stories you will lead our digital presence and drive meaningful engagement across all social platforms. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on content creation to build our brand narrative, foster community connections, and amplify our stories in the digital space. Our ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller with analytical prowess who can transform our content into compelling social experiences.
As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for :
- Develop and own the end-to-end organic social strategy across all major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube / Shorts, X, Facebook, Snap, Threads) to amplify Nova Sky Stories' brand, live drone spectacles, and featured documentaries.
- Define, drive, and scale the brand's social presence, focusing on measurable growth in followers, engagement rates, and platform watch-through metrics.
- Manage the full social calendar , including planning content themes, briefing shoots, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to align on major title / show launches and global amplification strategies.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of all social accounts, including scheduling, posting, and executing community management with a distinct and consistent brand voice.
- Be the hands-on editor who creates thumb-stopping assets (Reels, TikToks, Shorts, carousels, Stories, etc.) for rapid deployment across all channels.
- Lead live-capture on set / on the ground, including publishing in real-time during live drone events and large-scale activations.
- Manage creator, influencer, and UGC programs , including coordinating content days and capturing talent and user-generated content during live events.
- Maintain an organized and centralized content archive to ensure efficient asset retrieval and usage.
- Translate data into action by developing key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards, reporting weekly / monthly results, and consistently using insights to optimize performance (e.g., A / B testing hooks, thumbnails, and captions by platform).
- Lead social listening efforts to monitor cultural and industry trends, talent conversations, and partner chatter to identify timely content opportunities, grow brand visibility, and protect brand reputation.
You’ll need to have :
4+ years of multi-platform social media management experience within entertainment, live events, sports, or culture space, with a proven track record of driving significant audience growth and engagement.Proven expertise in live event capture, on-site editing, and publishing content rapidly from the field.Deep platform fluency across all major channels (IG, TikTok, YT / Shorts, X, FB, Threads), staying current on algorithm changes, format best practices, and trend cycles.An analytics-first mindset , confident in building benchmarks, creating performance dashboards, and translating insights into creative tests that drive measurable results.Hands-on video editing proficiency is a must ; skilled in cutting short-form video content using Adobe Premiere .Proficiency with graphic design tools (Photoshop, Canva, Capcut) is required; After Effects is a plus .Familiarity with social listening and publishing tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Brandwatch, Pulsar, Sprinklr, Later) and a basic understanding of rights / clearances for music and footage licensing.Knowledge of SEO, paid social media advertising, and paid ads integration .Bonus experience : Working with AI creative / editing tools, multilingual or global campaign management, and a demonstrable passion for the intersection of art, technology, and live event storytelling.Make an impression :
