Position Overview

The Process Engineering Manager is a highly technical, hands-on engineering leader responsible for driving complex projects to completion in a fast-paced manufacturing and product development environment. Reporting to the Director of Operations and Engineering, this individual takes ownership of project execution, applies strong data-driven decision-making, and provides direct technical guidance on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Ownership & Tactical Decision-Making : Act as a decision-maker for daily engineering and operational challenges, ensuring technical and schedule risks are proactively addressed.
• Data-Driven Problem Solving : Apply statistical methods, Design of Experiments (DOEs), and sound engineering principles to evaluate product performance and implement improvements.
• Project Execution : Track, manage, and drive projects directly—ensuring milestones, deliverables, and technical requirements are met.
• Hands-On Leadership : Provide on-the-floor technical direction, coaching, and troubleshooting support to engineers and technicians.
• Risk Assessment : Identify, evaluate, and elevate potential technical issues and risks that may impact quality, reliability, or schedule.
• Team Alignment & Focus : Maintain strong presence and influence to ensure cross-functional teams remain aligned on priorities.
• Schedule Accountability : Push for adherence to deadlines, balancing technical rigor with urgency to achieve project goals.
