Evaluate the severity of damage and determine the necessary resources and equipment. Conduct thorough assessments of damaged properties, noting structural and content impact. Document damage through photos, diagrams, and written descriptions. Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification services following industry standards. Execute fire damage mitigation, including soot and smoke removal. Apply anti-microbial treatments. Communicate effectively with customers, explaining the mitigation and restoration process. Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of all restoration projects, including time logs, expense reports, and customer communication. Report project progress to Emergency Services Project Manager. Ensure proper maintenance and handling of restoration equipment and tools. Report any equipment malfunction or need for repairs to the supervisor. Adhere to all company and OSHA safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in safety training sessions and stay updated on industry safety standards. High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of experience in the restoration industry preferred. IICRC certification in water, fire, and mold restoration is a plus. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic knowledge of construction and repair techniques. Clean driving record and valid driver's license. Willingness to work on-call for emergency services. This role requires both indoor and outdoor work, often in varied weather conditions. Must be available to work on-call and respond to emergencies as needed. Exposure to conditions such as dust, fumes, and noise is common.
