Responsibilities and Duties
Provide anesthesia services for a range of specialties including ortho, general surgery, dental, ENT (including pediatric ENT), gynecology, urology, vascular, endoscopy, labor, and C-section casesDeliver care in a 203-bed, non-trauma hospital with 10 operating rooms and 2 endoscopy suitesFulfill off-site anesthesia needs as requiredUtilize ultrasound for regional anesthesia blocksPerform labor epidurals and other anesthesia procedures as part of a transitioning teamOperate under medical supervision (not direction) of an anesthesiologistEnsure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standardsMaintain up-to-date certifications and participate in ongoing professional developmentAdditional Information
Must be licensed as a CRNA in West VirginiaAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications requiredNo board certification requirements specifiedExperience with a range of surgical and procedural cases is highly desirableBenefits
