CPA Accounting Specialist

A company is looking for a Senior Specialist Accountant in External Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and disclosures for SEC filings

Research and document accounting issues, ensuring compliance with new standards and SEC rules

Identify process improvements and support ad hoc analyses and corporate reporting initiatives

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of related experience, or a graduate degree with 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree

Relevant professional certification (CPA) completed or in progress

Experience with SEC filings in a public company environment or with Big Four firms

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions

Experience with Workiva SEC reporting and / or Workiva Wdata is preferred
