Overview

Asset Living is a third-party management firm and a partner in fostering thriving communities nationwide. The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. As an on-site leader, you will supervise all aspects of the property and staff to ensure compliance with Asset’s policies and procedures, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns.

Base pay

$75,000.00 / yr - $80,000.00 / yr

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Personnel Management : screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff; ensure staff accountability and compliance with company policies.
• Operations : maintain daily on-site presence, manage property operations, scheduling, and assignments for office and maintenance staff.
• Performance & Compliance : address performance issues, document appropriately, coordinate with supervisor and HR, and terminate when necessary; promote staff development and ensure policy compliance.
• Financial Management : improve net operating income through cost control and revenue / leasing strategies; develop operating budgets / forecasts; monitor deposits, rent collections, vendor invoices, and financial reporting.
• Leasing & Marketing : develop yearly marketing plans, implement leasing strategies, ensure follow-up, sign leases, and keep reporting systems current; show and lease units; implement resident retention programs.
• Administrative & Maintenance Management : ensure timely leasing reporting, manage emergency response for the property, monitor service requests, maintain property appearance, and oversee repairs and inspections.
• Vendor & Resource Management : obtain bids, manage contractors, and ensure economical use of property resources and supplies.
