Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview

Semiconductor client of Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer, PE to join their team in Chandler, AZ. This is a permanent, direct-hire, hybrid role with relocation assistance provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical designs to support a 24x7 production environment (approximately 70% design engineering, 30% reliability initiatives).
• Support multiple projects simultaneously, with project durations ranging from one month to one year.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects efficiently; support system start-ups, optimizations, and shutdowns.
• Maintain FMEAs, analyze system failures, and implement preventive measures to improve uptime.
• Coordinate upgrades and preventive maintenance with site maintenance teams.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and other relevant electrical safety codes.
• Manage electrical infrastructure from substation to final termination; conduct site inspections to verify construction and maintenance aligns with design.
• Develop and implement power reliability and power quality programs; interface with contractors and vendors for timely delivery of materials and services.
• Support documentation and reporting for audits, safety reviews, and engineering change processes.
• Stay current with industry standards and emerging technologies to enhance system performance and reliability.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range : $135,000.00 / yr - $150,000.00 / yr.

Additional compensation : Annual Bonus.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education.
