Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, including ovens, conveyor belts, and other critical systems, to minimize unplanned downtime. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems, including motors, instrumentation, distribution, and feed control components. Inspect and replace worn components such as bolts, belts, and other hardware to ensure reliable equipment operation. Collaborate effectively with teams across production, sanitation, engineering, and maintenance to support smooth plant operations. Maintain an organized maintenance area by applying 5S workplace organization principles. Learn and utilize the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system to document maintenance activities and manage work orders efficiently.
Job Description
OneSparQ is partnering with a rapidly growing company in Plymouth, MI to hire Maintenance Technicians. There are multiple openings on both day (5 AM – 5 PM) and night (5 PM – 5 AM) shifts, following a panama schedule of 3 days on and 2 days off, with Fridays required.
Required Skills :
- 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in an rough industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical background with experience working with electrical systems ranging from 24V to 480V.
- Has hands-on experience troubleshooting PLC systems.
- Must provide all hand tools (hand wrenches, allen key set, jaw pillars, and chain lock).
