RN - Endoscopy - Local Contract

WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy to join a top-tier medical facility in Ridgefield, CT. This role offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art environment, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. This is a temp-to-perm role!\n\nJob Function~\n

• Day Shift.\n
• 6~30am - 3~30pm.\n
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient care plan by ensuring patient safety from injury caused by extraneous objects, chemicals, electrical, mechanical, and thermal sources.\n
• Demonstrate the safe operation of equipment and machinery, following proper procedures to report and correct any unsafe situations.\n
• Handle specimens according to facility policy and procedures.\n
• Comply with protocol, facility site validation, and time-out policies.\n\nJob Requirements~\n
• 2 year of GI, OR, and / or medical / surgical nursing experience required.\n
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.\n
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.\n
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or documentation of current BLS / BCLS certification.\n
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or documentation of current ACLS certification.\n
