Fire Sprinkler Service Level II Life Safety Technician
We are looking for a fire sprinkler service level II life safety technician to perform inspection, testing, service and repairs of fire sprinkler systems and related components. This includes confirming compliance with applicable life-safety and fire-safety requirements as mandated by standards and codes, manufacturers requirements, federal, state and local ordinances, customer requirements, and the expectations and requirements of the company. This is a fast paced and demanding role with high visibility within the company.

What you will be doing includes performing inspection and testing of all types of fire sprinkler systems, troubleshooting and performing service and repair of fire sprinkler systems, recording and documenting all inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations, maintaining a good positive relationship with the customer, maintaining vehicle in clean and orderly fashion, maintaining equipment and tools necessary to safely perform job, evaluating customer site for additional equipment and services, working in compliance with the company's safety program, performing on-site and / or off-site emergency troubleshooting, testing backflow prevention devices, discussing deficiencies noted with customer, and working on nights, weekends, and / or holidays.
Qualifications include 2 years of water-based fire protection systems layout core and related work experience, ability to calculate basic math, knowledge and ability to understand and operate basic computer functions, and a valid U.S. driver's license. Ideal qualities include 2-5 years of experience with water-based fire protection systems, NICET II Certification, and state license in the relevant state.
