Responsibilities Position is in a combined Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department Night shift schedule of 3x12 hour shifts, 19 : 00-07 : 30 Option for 4x12 hour shifts may be available Requires care of General ED, trauma, neuro-trauma, and pediatric emergency cases Epic charting system is used and experience is required Must live more than 50 miles from the facility Care for a diverse population of adult, pediatric, trauma, and neuro-emergencies Navy blue scrubs are required Annual stroke education requirement may be fulfilled during orientation if not already completed Must complete approximately 4 hours of pre-start modules Candidates must not have worked at any Guthrie facility in the past year Not open to local candidates within 50 miles Requirements Active NY RN license in hand at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS Experience required in dysrhythmia management, IV therapy, procedural sedation, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, neurological and ortho trauma care, pediatric emergencies, CPAP / BiPAP, ABG interpretation, ventilated patient care, shock / trauma, and triage Epic EMR experience required Must have 8 hours of annual stroke education (can be completed onsite if needed) FEMA awareness required First time travelers will not be considered Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-610482.
