Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under the supervision of a licensed electrician
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Assist in the installation of electrical components, such as wiring, switches, outlets, Solar panels, Generators, and circuit breakers
- Perform basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience
TWO YEARS of previous work experience as a commercial or residential electrician is , or completed coursework at CNM in the Trades Program or equivalent.Familiarity with blueprint reading and understanding technical diagramsKnowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage and power toolsUnderstanding of electrical codes, such as NEC ( Electrical Code)Proficiency in using hand tools for electrical workSkills
