Overview

EGS is seeking a highly skilled Work Control Planner 4 to support maintenance, operations, and modification activities at the Los Alamos National Laboratory . The successful candidate will develop and review comprehensive work packages, ensuring all activities meet safety, technical, and procedural requirements in a secure and mission-critical environment.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, precision in documentation, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams within a regulated facility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review detailed work packages including :
• Time, material, and labor estimates
• Step-by-step work instructions and safety / testing requirements
• Verification and validation of technical work procedures
• Ensure work activities are executed in compliance with engineering, safety, and facility regulations
• Identify, document, and resolve work restraints or access limitations
• Interface with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams for coordination and planning
• Support procedure updates, safety reviews, and closeout documentation
• Contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
