Welder and Fabricator - 1st Shift

About the Opportunity :

• Job Title : Welder and Fabricator
• Pay Rate : $25.00 / Hour
• Location : Watertown, MN
• Schedule : 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday 7AM-4 : 30PM, Friday 7AM-3 : 15PM (no afternoon break)
• Position Type : Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications :

1. Minimum 6-12 months of welding and fabrication experience.

2. Proficiency in TIG welding techniques.

3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

4. Experience operating fabrication equipment such as band saws, shears, grinders, and break presses.

5. Basic set of tools, welding helmet, gloves, and safety boots required.

6. Willingness to learn and receive training in new areas as needed.

7. Able to communicate with piers and management.

8. Able to stand for an entire shift.

9. Able to lift and carry 50lbs.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Perform TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel to fabricate and assemble structural components and custom products.

2. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layout and procedures.

3. Operate fabrication machinery including band saws, shears, grinders, and break presses to cut, bend, and shape metal.

4. Ensure finished products meet quality standards and specifications.

5. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following company procedures and regulations.
