Under the general supervision of the Westchester Educational Opportunity Center (WEOC) Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, the Adjunct Counselor / Social Worker will :

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : The successful candidate must possess one of the following :
Candidates must also hold a valid licensure in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated experience with case management, advising, and guidance / intervention services, excellent organizational, verbal / written communication, and teamwork skills. Experience working in a diverse and fast-paced environment as well as ability to navigate technology and online application / enrollment systems is required.
All candidates must have evidence of responsiveness to and an understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of first-generation community college students, as these factors relate to the need for equity-minded practice.

POSITION EFFECTIVE : The position will remain open until filled.
HOURLY RATE OF PAY : $51.50 per hour. No benefits. This is a grant funded position.
WORK SCHEDULE : This position requires a three-day workweek totaling 21 hours (two days 9 : 00am - 5 : 00pm; one day 12 : 00pm - 8 : 00pm).
