IS EPIC-Supervisor, Ancillary Application Support
Responsible for supervising the activities and personnel associated with providing application support services for the clinical software applications. The supervisor will work closely with the Information Systems leadership team to insure stable and secure integrated solutions, ongoing maintenance and support of these systems, and the evaluation and deployment of new and emergent clinical application technologies. The supervisor will be responsible for application implementation, planning, priority setting, resource allocation, project management, staff training, performance improvement of clinical systems, and serving as a liaison between other members of the Information Systems and Clinical departments. In addition, the supervisor will have experience in overseeing the day-to-day operations and coordination of the clinical application support team, including issue management, talent development, growth, and retention. The supervisor will participate in special projects as needed, provide strategic management and objectives for the department, and will perform other duties as assigned.
Associates Degree in Information Technology required
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology preferred
Minimum of 3 years of clinical or informatic experience in a healthcare setting required.
Experience in healthcare IT, EHR systems, or clinical informatics preferred.
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience required.
Must be knowledgeable of new trends in clinical practice and information systems and be able to apply data processing technology of clinical and physician service areas.
EPIC Certification will be required in the timeframe as determined by the Chief Information Officer
