Enterprise Technical Solutions Manager
We are looking for an Enterprise Technical Solutions Manager!
This role is responsible for the full life-cycle management and operational support of one or more enterprise technology systems. These systems are mission-critical platforms that enable key city functions and promote efficient data and resource sharing across departments.
As the Solutions manager, you will oversee day-to-day system operations, coordinate upgrades and enhancements, and ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will guide system governance, lead planning for future growth, and provide leadership during major implementations or transitions.
This role provides managerial oversight for two support teamsPublic Safety Support and Enterprise Supportensuring that service delivery, issue resolution, and user experience meet the city's standards for quality and reliability. You will foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the teams.
This position also builds and maintains strong relationships with departmental business and IT teams, coordinates governance and user groups, and serves as the primary liaison between the city and solution providers.

Position Salary Range : E36 - $99,217 / yr. to $135,498 / yr.
The established market rate for this position is $135,498 / yr.

Key Responsibilities :
Manages technology solutions at any point in their lifecycle.
Functions as an enterprise solution owner and administration lead.
Performs business process analysis.
Serves as the solutions governance team lead.
Creates and maintains the solution roadmap.
Stays current with knowledge of alternative solutions.
Performs change management planning.
Serves as the escalation point and action advocate.
Assists in solution-related procurement processes.
Fosters an innovative, collaborative, success-oriented team environment.
Minimum Qualifications :
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or other closely related field and at least 8 years of related experience.
Demonstrable proficiency in business process analysis, technology roadmap creation, technology issue resolution, software solution requirements definition and cross-functional coordination.
Demonstrable ability to act as an expert and consultant to executive-level managers and decision makers.
Desired Qualifications :
Five years of technology service or solution management in a business or government setting.
Five years of experience in forming technology investments in a business-case-like format.
Three years of experience supporting enterprise technology solutions.
Working Conditions :
Light physical effort. Intermittent sitting, standing & walking. Comfortable working conditions.
Regular exposure to stressful situations as a result of human behavior and the demands of the position.
Frequent stressful situations imposed by inflexible deadlines and customer requirements. Frequent weekend work and evening work is required as well as 24 / 7 support on certain systems.
