The Sales Engineer at our client plays a critical role in bridging the gap between technical product offerings and customer needs. This position involves working closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions that address client requirements and support the successful deployment of our client technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and design effective our client solutions that fit business needs.
- Lead technical presentations and product demonstrations for clients, articulating the value and capabilities of our client products and services.
- Develop and deliver technical proposals, statements of work, and solution architectures.
- Serve as a technical expert throughout the pre-sales and post-sales process, including solution design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Work with product management and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product enhancements.
- Assist in the onboarding, configuration, and integration of solutions at client sites.
- Provide technical training and support to clients and internal teams as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies relevant to our client's offerings.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.2+ years of experience in a solution engineering, sales engineering, or technical consulting role, preferably within hospitality technology or SaaS environments.Strong understanding of networking, cloud services, APIs, and software integration.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Proven problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, deployments, and training sessions.Preferred Skills
Familiarity with enterprise software deployment and support.Experience with restaurant POS systems or hospitality technology solutions, is a plus!Project management experience is a plus.Seniority level
