Job Title : Customer Service Representative / Permit Specialist
Location : Indianapolis, IN 46214
$20.00 / hr | Paid Training | 12-Month Contract (Possibility of Extension)
Monday–Friday | Day Shift
About the Role :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative / CSR Permit Analyst to support the Oversized & Overweight Vehicle Permitting Division. This role involves processing transport permits, assisting carriers, and ensuring compliance with federal and state safety regulations.
What You’ll Do :
Review and process oversized / overweight transport permits
Communicate with carriers via phone, email, and in-person
Verify company compliance and handle special weight registrations
Update routing information based on current road restrictions
Coordinate with Indiana State Police & INDOT engineers
What You Need :
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of customer service, compliance, permitting, or administrative experience
Strong communication & data entry skills
Ability to read / interpret technical or regulatory information
