Responsibilities Canyon Ridge Hospital is currently seeking a compassionate and talented Music Facilitator (Contractor) .

Position overview : The Music Facilitator is responsible for teaching patients the use of music and voice within a therapeutic setting as a mechanism for insight and change. Music Therapy uses music, singing and sound in a psychotherapeutic context to promote emotional, cognitive, physical and social integration, focusing on expression, communication, and learning adaptive skills within the therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in music, psychology, humanities, social work or related therapeutic discipline is acceptable with relevant work experience in the field of Music Therapy.
