What you'll do

• Supervise and lead a team of drillers and other personnel in the drilling operations.
• Ensure that all drilling operations are carried out safely and in compliance with the company's safety standards and regulations.
• Plan and coordinate drilling activities to meet production targets and ensure that drilling equipment is maintained and serviced properly.
• Ensure that all drilling records are properly maintained and reported accurately.
• Monitor the drilling operations and identify potential problems or issues and implement solutions to ensure that drilling activities are not interrupted.
• Train and mentor new drilling personnel and ensure that all personnel are trained in safety procedures and drilling techniques.
• Ensure that drilling equipment and materials are stocked and ordered in a timely manner.
• Carry out regular inspections of drilling equipment to identify and correct any defects or issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
