Bowie State University is seeking a strategic and technically adept Director of Infrastructure Operations to lead the university's core technology infrastructure. This role oversees data centers, cloud infrastructure, telecommunications, server environments (Linux, Solaris, Windows), storage systems, networks, and firewalls. The Director ensures high reliability, scalability, and security of services that support all academic and administrative functions.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead datacenter, cloud, and telecom infrastructure
• Manage enterprise servers and compute environments
• Design secure, scalable network infrastructure
• Supervise infrastructure staff and manage budgets
• Oversee firewalls, security controls, and identity systems
• Drive cross-functional technology projects using agile
• Align IT services with institutional goals and compliance
