Banquet Houseperson

Position Purpose : To set up meetings, meal functions, and audiovisual equipment in accordance with hotel and company policies.

Responsibilities include :

• Communicating with supervisors throughout the shift.
• Setting up meeting rooms to guest specifications, including transporting heavy materials.
• Ensuring water, amenities, audiovisual equipment, and breaks are ready 15 minutes before meetings.
• Handling additional guest needs for charges and notifying supervisors.
• Maintaining customer relations and cleaning meeting rooms.
• Assisting with meal service, banquet check processing, and equipment handling.
• Wearing uniform and name badge at all times while on property.
• Supporting company values, mission, and guest service philosophy.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities :

Physical Demands : Medium work involving walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements :

Attendance : Reliable attendance required. Excessive absences or tardiness may lead to disciplinary action.
