Minimum 3–5 years of progressive kitchen experience, including supervisory or lead cook roles. Previous experience in high-volume banquets, catering, or hotel / resort kitchens strongly preferred. Proficient in menu planning, recipe development, and large-scale food production. Strong knowledge of international and regional cuisines, buffet and plated service styles. Ability to maintain consistency, flavor, and presentation across high-volume events. Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a culinary team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail. Skilled in scheduling, inventory management, ordering, and cost control. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with front-of-house and event staff. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by banquet schedules. Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in hot kitchen environments. Full-time hours with opportunities for professional growth.
