Lead Content Designer Job at Crown Prosecution Service in National

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to build a shared understanding of CPS’s content landscape, and develop content strategies that align with user needs, organisational goals, and the wider government digital agenda.
• Set direction and assure the quality of content design and delivery across teams, ensuring alignment with the government content style guide, service standard, and design principles.
• Lead the design and iteration of content across multiple or highly complex services, ensuring that these services are inclusive, accessible, and meet user needs.
• Support collaboration across teams and the user-centred design profession, helping to build a strong and empowered community of practice.
• Collaborate with the rest of the user-centred design and analysis leadership to develop the profession and deliver on our vision for design.
• Build content design capability within CPS by mentoring and growing the content design profession and developing the skillset across the organisation.
• Advocate for content design within the organisation, clearly communicating its value to senior leaders and stakeholders at all levels, and helping them to adopt a user-centred approach.
• Join up content design work across the Criminal Justice System to support the design of end-to-end services that deliver impactful outcomes.
