job_description.job_card.job_descriptionOverseeing & managing large public academic projects from start through completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards Developing and leading high performing teams Providing administrative & technical support by directing the team Ensuring high-quality, safe, and clean work that meets projects schedules and budgets Coordinating & collaborating with necessary project parties Leading site personnel, providing guidance to ensure the highest levels of safety, productivity, and performance Developing relationships with clients, and maintaining open lines of communication Managing project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, daily logs, and progress reports Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all individuals involved in the project Upholding company image / professionalism 5+ years (minimum) experience as a Superintendent with a GC Strong background in ground-up commercial work along the lines of (Healthcare, public, K-12, Higher-Ed) Very comfortable running projects $15M-$60M+ start to finish Commutable to RI area Thorough understanding of contract documents, drawings, specifications, construction means and method, materials, survey methods & overall construction planning and cost control Knowledge of construction planning and cost control Ability to implement Lean construction principles OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred Base salary up to $160K + Bonus Company truck / vehicle allowance Mileage reimbursement Company phone & laptop Tons of room for growth & more!

Join a top 400 ENR firm, family owned & operated, is looking for a Superintendent to join their team! Primarily work on largescale academic & healthcare projects in Rhode Island - also do government, municipal, public and industrial projects.
In business over 100 years, headquartered out of CT, second office in Providence RI. DO NOT hire on a project-to-project basis, very clear they won't hire without ability to keep them on!
They really are looking for people who are eager and excited to be there. They don't want someone that is looking for a three-year stepping stone before moving on to something else.
Because of the work and projects that they do their work is recession proof. It was the only industry that flourished during the crash in '08 because they are doing federal funded work.
