Registered Nurse - PreOp / PACU

The Opportunity :

Saint Luke's East in Lee's Summit is seeking a PRN Pre-OP / PACU RN to join their Perianesthesia team. In this position, you will provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing procedures within the Main OR and hospital-based GI suites.

Shift Details :

PRN Position. This position takes call and has a 30 minute call response time requirement.

The Work :

• Provides pre-operative and post-operative care for inpatient and outpatient procedures.
• Utilizesthe nursing process
• Performspatient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff
• Coordinatesthe plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Demonstratesproficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures

Applicable Experience :

1 year

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Healthstream - Healthstream, Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various

Associate Degree
