Opportunity available for the Summer 2026 with the AES Indiana Substation Engineering team. This position will provide the with engineering experience as it relates to substation design and system protection.

Opportunity

The Substation Engineering Intern will join the AES Indiana Substation Engineering team and work with staff engineers to gain hands-on experience in substation design and system protection.

Responsibilities

• The Substation Engineering Interns will work as a team with staff engineers to facilitate substation engineering analysis and design work related to system protection and substation infrastructure.
• Assist staff engineers with substation projects and assigned project work to provide valuable engineering experience.

Qualifications

The intern may be expected to complete additional assignments as determined by their supervisor.
