Overview

Presidian Hospitality is seeking a dependable Engineer / Landscaping Assistant to support the maintenance team with repairs, inspections, and upkeep of the hotel's facilities and grounds. This entry-level role offers an opportunity to learn from experienced engineers while contributing to the smooth operation of the property.

Where You Can Make An Impact

  • Assist engineers with routine maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
  • Perform inspections to identify maintenance needs and report issues promptly.
  • Support the implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
  • Help maintain equipment, tools, and inventory supplies.
  • Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests with urgency and professionalism.
  • Assist with emergency repairs and troubleshooting during critical situations.
  • Keep maintenance areas clean and organized.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Document maintenance activities and provide updates to supervisors.
  • Learn and develop skills under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Education / Formal Training

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

    • Experience

  • Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is a plus but not required.

    • Knowledge / Skills

  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
