Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We design, manufacture, and operate an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise. The primary focus of this position is building and improving electrical control systems within the Manufacturing Design Engineering team, with some related machine controls depending on bandwidth and interest.

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company's business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $123,200 - $154,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Archer is looking for candidates with location flexibility. The role will ultimately be based in San Jose, California. Travel flexibility is necessary, especially inside the United States and abroad when participating in Machine Acceptance Tests or Machines Tryouts and related project meetings.
