Position : Director, Facilities Management Services (Operations)
Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director, Facilities Management Services (Operations) for an acute care facility.
Job Summary :
As the Director of Facilities Operations you will be responsible for directing facilities maintenance operations of building(s) and property at a single hospital. This will include managing the preventative maintenance and reactive repair of skilled trades, e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, utilities; and manages the hiring, training and supervision of staff, professionals and management. The Director of Facilities Management Services will ensure a safe and efficient working environment, essential to the performance of the business. The Director may oversee construction work and often manages other core services, and / or logistics of business / operations services, e.g., grounds keeping, laundry, food, security, inventory, mail, concierge services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage all aspects of facilities operations, including building maintenance, systems reliability, and infrastructure support.
- Direct preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment and facility reliability.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including Joint Commission and other accrediting agencies.
- Coordinate and execute capital improvement projects and renovations in collaboration with hospital leadership and external contractors.
- Oversee and develop a multidisciplinary team of technicians and maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Serve as a key liaison with hospital administration to support patient care services and operational goals.
- Maintain emergency preparedness and support hospital safety initiatives and sustainability efforts.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.5+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare facilities management.Strong knowledge of The Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA, and other regulatory standards.Proven experience managing capital projects and vendor relationships.Advanced user proficiency (5+ years) in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and facilities management software for hospital operations.CHFM certification preferred or willingness to obtain.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.If you are a highly motivated and experienced facilities operations leader looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity and send resume to agresko@trisian-global.com for immediate review.
