Regular i3 hours are 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required. Shipping And Receiving Coordinator
i3 is hiring a Shipping And Receiving Coordinator to perform a variety of duties. This position will be located at an i3 Facility in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities
- Use discretion and independent judgement while overseeing the shipping and receiving process for assigned location
- Collaborate with internal programs in creating processes for specific inbound / outbound shipments based on program specific needs
- Receive and distribute packages
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage or defects
- Verify packages according to order and invoices
- Maintain documentation of all incoming and outgoing inventory
- Determine the best method of packing products to ensure adequate product protection during transit
- Coordinate with carriers or transportation services to schedule and load outgoing shipments
- Assist with inventory control
- Loads and unloads trailers and pallets efficiently and safely
- Assist the Government Property Point of Contact (POC) as necessary
- Performs other related duties as assigned
