Position Summary : Responsible for the successful development, implementation, schedule, and cost performance of a major program, or multiple programs, through subordinate program / project managers (non-tech), in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Manages a directorate within a division. Has supervisory and developmental responsibilities within a functional area. Maintains aggressive efforts to achieve objectives. Trains and supervises personnel. Prepare Staffing Plans, including skill and labor mix, to support contract operations. May be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff. Assign staff and provide technical direction as necessary to complete task.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Lead multiple related projects, ensuring they are aligned with the company’s strategic goals and objectives. Communicate program vision and objectives clearly to both internal teams and external partners
- Provide clear objectives and direction in line with project / program scope
- Establish KPIs and metrics to track program progress, performance, and outcomes, providing regular updates to Align senior leadership and the customer. Use project management software to track and report on project performance, ensuring transparency and accuracy in communication.
- Maintain accurate reporting of program and project performance, including external customer scorecards and survey results to drive improvements within team
- Drives accountability for performance to key objectives
- Coordinate resource sharing with Program Managers and scheduling
- Conduct lessons learned review with team
- Improve profitability
- Negotiate with customers for expedites and change order costs
- Review make / buy decisions within program / projects to support cost and / or schedule
- Identify and manage cost reduction initiatives including material, labor and tooling savings
- Lead technical inquiries to understand and improve quality issues
- Resolve customer related delays (CSTOPS)
- Solve customer problems and meet their needs
- Negotiate with customers regarding purchase order placement, quote determination, lead times, tooling, digital data, pricing, contracts, shipment dates, and delivery reports, etc.
- Communicate with customers to verify orders, define and make targets accordingly
- Serve as primary customer point of contact for on and off-site visits
- Prepare and present program review and marketing information to customers
- Build customer relations through regular customer contact
- Conduct analysis of customer potential and present recommendations to management
- Identify and resolve potential risks
- Ensure programs are adequately resourced : materials, tooling, personnel, customer-provided items, outsourced items

Qualifications :
Experience and Education :Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale.PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred.Technical SkillsStrong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), with the ability to effectively communicate technical requirements and updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner or develop alternative solutionsProficient in the use of all Microsoft Office programs and Windows operating systemAbility to thrive in a changing, fast-paced growing and dynamic businessDetail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organization skills and attention to detailCommunication Skills :Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.Ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to senior leadership, customers, and team members.Proven ability to manage communication channels and ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged.Problem-Solving Skills :Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to challenges.Ability to communicate solutions and rationales clearly and effectively.Adaptability :Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving work environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Strong communication skills are required to navigate and manage changes effectively.Physical Requirements :Extended screen timeLong periods of sittingPotentially long hoursSupervisory Responsibilities :
