St. Luke Lutheran Community is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse(RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN) Staff Nurses to join our healthcare team. The ideal Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and memory care. As a Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse , you will play a crucial role in supporting patients' health and well-being while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse Details

RN : $30.00 / hour

LPN : $27.30 / hour

$1.00 Evening / Midnight Differential

Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse Schedule (8 hour shifts) :

Full-time / Part-time Days (7 : 00AM-3 : 30PM)

Full-time / Part-time Evenings (3 : 00PM-11 : 30PM)

Full-time / Part-time Midnights (11 : 00PM-7 : 30AM)

• Every other weekend / every other holiday (required)
• Availability of your preferred shift(s) will be confirmed at your interview and may change at any time.

Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities :

Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities.

Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) (PointClickCare) and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Supervise State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) and ensure care plans are followed.

Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges

Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.

Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements :

Valid RN / LPN license in the state of Ohio.

Experience in various nursing environments such as acute care, long-term care, hospice care, or home health is preferred.

Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., PointClickCare) and medical documentation practices.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and nursing best practices.

Ability to perform clinical tasks such as IV insertion and medication administration.

Experience working with geriatrics dementia is a plus.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
