Primary Purpose of the Position :

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide technical support on our contract proposals. In this role, you will work cross functionally with our commercial and strategy teams.

Essential Responsible Areas :

• Complies with established job safety practices, policies, and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for the safe performance of the work environment.
• Provides Economic Value Added (EVA) based financial analysis for new and potential projects.
• Creates financial models on Excel spreadsheets for analyzing and solving new and unique business problems and / or opportunities. Presents to management the results of the analysis of business situations.
• Identifies and executes on continuous improvement opportunities.
• Owns financial processes around key financial statement line items. This includes budget, forecast and month-end reporting, while working alongside business partners to deliver the company goals.
• Presents to management the results of the analysis of business situations.
• Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the division, the group, and the company. Includes the ability to handle stress and to interact with others to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required between the assigned start and end times of work.
• Updates calculations for customer pricing for items related to contract administration and changes in customer cost components (e.g. LME administration, Inflation, changes to ingot conversion cost, etc.)
• Ad-hoc projects so as other tasks in line with company needs
• Assures and maintains safe and healthful working conditions while enforcing safety rules and regulations.
