Job Description

ASRC Federal is seeking a seasoned ETL Developer to join our team to support a DEA contract in Arlington, VA.

Work arrangement : Hybrid / Onsite

Clearance : Public Trust (must be a US Citizen)

Responsibilities :

  • Shall formulate and define system scope and objectives.
  • Shall devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
  • Shall prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written and shall 81 design, code, test, debug, and document those programs.
  • Shall be competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Requirements

Requirements :

  • Strong understanding of the Data warehousing techniques and star / snowflake models.
  • Must have experience in DataStage Director and job designs :
  • Experience in DataStage parallel and sequential job scheduling for multiple jobs.
  • Experience in DataStage job scheduling process with Autosys and DataStage scheduler.
  • Experience in DataStage error resolutions.
  • Experience using Parallel processing Infrastructure using DataStage.
  • Experience in developing Data stage jobs for extract and transformation to load to data warehouse.
  • Experience with Join, Lookup, Merge stages.
  • Experience using data stage functionalities like file loading and unstructured data.
  • Experience with Oracle databases and building PL / SQL Procedures, Functions, Triggers and packages.
  • Experience in writing Unix / Linux shell scripts.
  • Must be a US Citizen and ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust.
  • Must be able to pass a government issues background check.

    • Education :

  • BS / BA in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or equivalent
  • At least four (4) years’ experience in the field. Eight (8) years of related experience is equivalent to a BS / BA in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or related discipline.
