We are a well-established commercial MEP company based in Lancaster, PA. We operate throughout Pennsylvania and into the surrounding states.

Our Electrical Estimator will be part of an experienced team and will be focused on helping our company continue to win new bids and thrive. This is a great opportunity for a skilled estimator who is looking to join a strong company.

Essential Job Functions :

• Analyzing blueprints, project plans, addenda, and other bid documents.
• Determining the amount, type, and cost of materials for each electrical project using systems and company templates.
• Determining the amount of labor required to complete each project.
• Coordinate with other MEP disciplines to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive project estimate.
• Providing viable solutions to increase project profitability.
• Participating in pre-bid meetings as required.
• Completing and submitting competitive project bids in accordance with company standards.
• Regularly updating cost databases to accurately reflect fluctuating material and labor costs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 3 years experience in electrical estimating, preferably with a commercial / industrial electrical contractor

Proficiency with estimating software

Experience with digital takeoff tools

Experience with design-build

Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, materials, and construction methods

Ability to interpret blueprints

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines

Strong communication skills and customer service skills

Exceptional attention to detail

Education and Requirements :

Field experience is a plus

High School Diploma or GED Certification (required)

Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)

Valid PA Driver’s License

Physical Requirements :

Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.

Manual Dexterity

Lift up to 20lbs occasionally
