Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Web Developer with extensive experience in both front-end and back-end development to join our innovative team. This hybrid role requires a candidate based in New York City, with the ability to work in the office three days a week. As a senior team member, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining complex, scalable, and user-centric web solutions.

This position operates in a professional office environment; this role is expected to use standard office equipment such as a computer, printer, cellphone, and camera.

Physical Demands

The employee must be able to attend events on and off campus and speak with attendees for on- and off-camera interviews, including nights and weekends.

Environmental Conditions

The primary work environment is a typical office setting within the Office of Marketing & Communications Department.

This is a hybrid role with 3-4 days on campus required, 1-2 days remote possible. Travel is primarily local and may include visits to the other NY campus.

Position Type / Hours

The standard work schedule is Monday-Thursday, 8 : 30am-4 : 30pm, and Friday 8 : 30am-3pm with some variability based on St. John’s University’s calendar and Marketing deliverables.

Salary + Benefits

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual salary range for this position is $92,600 to $108,200. St. John’s University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.

This position may be relocated to any of St. John’s University’s physical locations at any time.
