Facilities Maintenance Technician

Completes work orders, preventative maintenance orders and project work to maintain the facility equipment and building at Jel Sert's headquarters and local distribution centers.

This position may require the employee to work more than 40 hours per week as needed. Overtime is scheduled based upon individual job responsibilities and the needs of the department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Troubleshoot and repair facility and building equipment as work orders are distributed.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Complete work assignments in a timely fashion with minimal direction.
• Communicate maintenance issues to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean work environment at all times.
• Adhere to quality and safety procedures / regulations.
• Recommend process improvements ideas.

Jel Sert Company is committed to pay transparency and will provide further compensation information during the interview process. The minimum compensation for the Facilities Maintenance Technician is $32.00 per hour. Actual compensation to be paid will be determined upon an offer. Compensation is determined by a candidate's experience, education, skills, training, and the internal equity within our organization.
