Responsibilities
- Leads cross-functional process improvement projects to drive business benefits
- Works with business functions to develop and implement LSS methodologies to identify and deliver opportunities for continuous improvement
- Leads transformation projects and assists other business stakeholders and leaders to drive improvement in process metrics, targeted financial benefits, and achieve company goals
- Works in coordination with leadership to analyze, monitor and assess critical activities affecting business measures, organizational guidance, and developmental processes
- Performs moderate to complex analysis of business goals, objectives and needs within the general business environment
- Identifies potential risks & issues relating to the delivery of projects and manage a resolution process in a timely manner
- Assist with data analysis, conclusions and presentations related to LSS project discoveries and findings
- Provides program leadership to drive financial process transformation using LSS methodologies
- Monitors and analyzes the effectiveness of Lean Six Sigma project work vs goals and objectives, and corporate expectations, and take appropriate action to improve performance as indicated
- Mentor and coach Green Belts, SMEs, and team members.
- Support Black Belts and Green Belts in the certification process
- Provides training in Lean and Six Sigma concepts.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree is required; a master's in business or engineering is a definite plus.Black Belt Certification required10-15+ Years of Experience - Portfolio of past work preferred25% TravelSpearhead LSS process improvement initiatives within financial operations to promote greater efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing financial processes, identify opportunities for enhancement, and implement strategic solutions to optimize overall performance.Extensive expertise in record to report processes : accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll etcMust have prior experience working with ERP platform (SAP / Oracle) especially in the finance and procurement domain to drive continuous improvement for the relevant functionsMust be able to identify AI use cases for the corporate function area and work with techno functional teams to automate and streamline solutions using AI.Strong analytic aptitude requiredMust be able to assess and address moderate complex business problems and develop and implement solutions to meet business unit and corporate function goals.Highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Able to work in a collaborative fashion and independently.
