Overview

Teradata Developer - BI and Data Analytics at Tata Consultancy Services. This role requires Teradata development and data warehouse expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Teradata-based solutions; performance tuning; manage statistics, views, stored procedures, and macros.
  • Work with TAS / EAS COTS Workflow Manager and Business Context layer product knowledge and SQL.
  • Operate with large datasets, ETL processes, and data warehouses (Teradata, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Collaborate in agile environments using Jira and Confluence.
  • Articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field; master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in Teradata development; ability to design changes in Teradata.
  • Strong in performance tuning, statistics, views, stored procedures, and macros.
  • Analytical skills with impact analysis and reverse engineering to understand existing software and code generators.
  • Experience with large datasets, ETL processes, and data warehouses (Teradata, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Supply Chain domain knowledge including SAP backend tables and DD tables; understanding of supply chain processes (inventory management, procurement, logistics).

  • Base Salary Range : $100,000 - $125,000 per annum
