Summary :
This position is responsible, under supervision, for the quality, timeliness, amount and selection of all products prepared in the bakery.

Work Environment :
The work environment is typical of a commercial bakery environment and employees are constantly working around kitchen appliances such as deep fryers, mixers, etc. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, and to slip hazards, hot surfaces and hot oil hazards. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat (non-weather). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear.
