Strong knowledge of network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, or similar). Hands-on experience in VSE scheduling, batch processing, and mainframe or distributed job control. Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching). Experience in incident management, ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy), and escalation processes. Ability to interpret system alerts and logs for root cause analysis and performance tuning. Basic knowledge of Windows / Linux servers and scripting (Shell / PowerShell) is a plus.

Role Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Network Operations Engineer (NOC) to support network operations, VSE scheduling, and production support in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability and performance of critical network systems and production schedules through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination with technical teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Perform VSE (Virtual Storage Environment) scheduling, batch job monitoring, and production job execution.
- Troubleshoot network and system issues, escalating as needed to senior engineers or vendors.
- Provide 24x7 production support through shift-based NOC operations.
- Coordinate incident resolution and service restoration with internal IT and operations teams.
- Analyze recurring issues, implement preventive measures, and maintain logs / reports.
- Support change management and deployment activities in production environments.
- Ensure adherence to established SLA, security, and compliance guidelines.
