Rate : $60 - $70 / hr

Contract Duration : Until the End of the Year (with possible extensions)

Contract Type : W2 (Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; No Sponsorships or C2C)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Focused Network Engineer to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions for our network systems. You will ensure thorough documentation and streamlined operations while working in a hybrid environment from Columbus, OH.

Key Responsibilities

Palo Alto VPN and Prisma Access Management :

Design, deploy, and manage Palo Alto VPN solutions.

• Configure and optimize Prisma Access for secure remote connectivity.
• Monitor and troubleshoot VPN and Prisma Access performance issues.

Documentation and Reporting :

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network security designs, configurations, and operational procedures.

AIOps and PCNSA Expertise :

Utilize AIOps tools for predictive analysis, anomaly detection, and network optimization.

Arista Networking and Troubleshooting :

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Arista routers and EOS-based network environments.

Network Troubleshooting and Optimization :

Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and security issues.

SCADA / ICS Systems Familiarity :

Understand and support the unique security requirements of SCADA and Industrial Control Systems (ICS).

Desirable Skills

Qualifications / Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience :

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on network security.

Skills :

Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications :

PCNSA (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator)
