We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead our financial operations from our Brooklyn, NY office in a full-time capacity. This critical role will serve as the backbone of our financial management, overseeing bookkeeping, preparing accurate monthly financial statements, and ensuring the fiscal health of our rapidly growing organization. The Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in aligning financial strategies with our mission to deliver exceptional care, working closely with the executive team to drive data-informed decisions in a lean, efficient back-office environment. While primarily office-based, the role may occasionally involve visits to assisted living or skilled nursing facilities to gain a deeper understanding of our operational model, offering a unique opportunity to connect financial oversight with the real-world impact of our services. Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable / receivable, and payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Perform detailed bookkeeping tasks, maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, to provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making and growth objectives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations, including tax filings and audits.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Collaborate with the executive team to provide financial data and recommendations for operational efficiency and cost management.
• Streamline financial processes to align with the company's lean back-office structure, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity to support day-to-day operations and long-term growth plans.
• Occasionally visit assisted living or skilled nursing facilities to gain operational insights, as needed, to align financial strategies with business needs.
