The Director of Music and Worship at Lexington Presbyterian Church (LPC) plays a vital role in creating Christ-centered, theologically rich worship experiences. This full-time position offers the opportunity to collaborate with the senior pastor in shaping meaningful worship liturgy, leading vocal and instrumental music, and cultivating a vibrant culture of congregational singing that beautifully blends traditional hymns with modern compositions.

The ideal candidate :

• Must have strong faith and align with Reformed doctrine.
• Leads blended, theologically rich worship incorporating Liturgy.
• Recruits, mentors, and leads a strong worship team.
• Communicates and collaborates well with teams.
• Leads blended worship with instrumental / vocal mastery.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Key responsibilities include directing choirs and worship teams, coordinating A / V needs, planning special services, and helping the congregation grow in their understanding and love of worship music. The ideal candidate will be a passionate follower of Christ with strong musical proficiency, leadership abilities, and a heart for church music ministry.
