Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of mechanical engineers by providing oversight, technical mentoring, and guidance
• Design and analyze mechanical, structural, and thermal components and subsystems to meet customer requirements and align with LM Space standard methodologies
• Develop, review, release, and maintain engineering documentation, specifications, and technical analyses to support product development, build, and testing activities
• Use CAD software to create 3D models and engineering drawings with GD&T, integrating components and subsystems into a comprehensive, master CAD model
• Present design and analysis data to the spacecraft design / engineering team, customer technical representatives, and Program Office personnel at technical interchange meetings and formal design reviews
